The theatre is in the air: Studio 46 presents "The Sound Stage".

The theatre group from Burgos is embarking on a new radio project.

The pandemic completely devastated the world of acting, completely paralysing the activity of numerous theatre companies. This has not been the case of Studio 46 Teatro, which even though it has been affected by the closure of the Centro Cultural de Caja de Burgos in Miranda de Ebro, has been able to enter our homes in recent months thanks to Miranda FM.

A RADIO ADVENTURE

Gone are the years when the Buggles' song "Video Killed The Radio Star" was played non-stop. Today, thanks to the democratisation of technology and the emergence of new ways of disseminating content such as YouTube or Spotify, the world of Podcasting could not be more fashionable.

Studio 46 has joined this initiative, directed for more than 30 years by Carlos Ruiz Hermosilla, to whom we dedicate this section of our blog. The radio director and announcer surprised us this time with a set of stories written by his hand that take us back to the era of Orson Wells' "The War of the Worlds".

Jorge González Solloa, the band's musical director, has been in charge of the sound aspects. The different videos illustrating the story were made by Juan Roca Arcos, audiovisual producer and the youngest current member of the theatre group. These are already available on the Youtube channel of Studio 46 teatro.

The videos show some of the most recognised company's performances.
